“The Pizza Hut system is looking for 11,000 new go-getters to give our fans as positive an experience as possible,” said Kelly McCulloch, Senior Director, Human Resources at Pizza Hut.  “We’re committed to improving the overall customer experience. This starts with our restaurants recruiting top talent, and training team members to perform at their absolute best.”

On its jobs website, Pizza Hut says that many of its available positions are flexible, so they can be a good fit for college students, retirees or those looking for a second job to make extra cash.

There are also opportunities for teenagers who are just starting out in the workforce.

A unique benefit offered by the chain is the Life Unboxed EDU initiative that offers all employees and their families 50% off tuition at Excelsior College, which is a college for working adults.

Pizza Hut pledged last year to grow its number of U.S. locations to 8,500 over the next few years.

The company’s ambitious plan comes as the restaurant industry overall is going through a rough patch. However, pizza chains have fared better than others due to aggressive discounts.
