Baby born on plane gifted free flights!

In a Facebook post, a fellow passenger said the mother, who was due in October, suddenly started having contractions – four hours into the flight.

The crew helped relocate the mother to the front of the plane for her comfort.

“We only heard one semi-loud screech, and a few seconds later, there were tinier, cute screeches, and it was when we knew the baby was born,” the passenger wrote.

The airline said two registered nurses — who were passengers on the flight — assisted the cabin crew with the delivery of the baby girl.

The plane made an emergency landing in India to get the mother and baby medical care.

‘We are happy that both mother and daughter are doing well, and would like to commend our flight and cabin crew for handling the situation with utmost professionalism and efficiency. We also express our sincerest gratitude to the two volunteer nurses who helped ensure the baby’s safe delivery,’ says Lance Gokongwei, CEB President and CEO.

To celebrate the birth of Haven, Cebu Pacific awarded her one million airline points, which don’t expire and may be shared with her family.
