The world’s biggest airline is going to put a little food in your stomach as they shuttle you around from coast to coast.

American to reintroduce free meals on select routes
Starting May 1, American Airlines will offer free cabin meals to economy fliers on flights in both directions between Los Angeles and New York, as well as between San Francisco and New York.
Mornings will see a continental breakfast served, while lunch and dinner will include a boxed meal with a sandwich wrap, kettle chips and dessert.
Vegetarian options and a fruit and cheese plate will also be available.
‘Providing complimentary meals in the Main Cabin is yet another step we’re taking to enhance our service,’ said Fernand Fernandez, vice president – Global Marketing.
Delta announced it was bringing back free meals in coach in February. No word yet from third competitor United on free meals for their passengers.
