The way we access video content is changing and so is the marketplace.

My family watches YouTube a lot. In particular, we watch clips of Comedy Central duo Key and Peele on YouTube, though none of us actually watch Comedy Central!

Now The New York Times  reports ABC is coming out with an app where you will be able to watch their programming on whatever device you want with one big gotcha: You have to be able to prove you are a pay TV subscriber in some way.

Meanwhile, Sen. John McCain is proposing we go to an a la carte model where we just buy the channels we want instead of paying for an overpriced bundle.

He’s introduced a bill called the Television Consumer Freedom Act of 2013.
